The aim of the conference is to explore the traditions, modes of operation and purport of the culture of periodicals and to provide a forum for discussion among scholars in the humanities and social sciences as well as editors, web experts, etc. involved in this field. The conference will focus on the perspective of netculture, that is, on questions such as which elements of the culture of periodicals will/can survive in hypertextual forms and the Internet medium, to what extent can periodicals be considered as an antecedent of these new forms of communication.                                                     




   
The languages of the conference are English and Hungarian.
